Simpson Travel appoints trade executive to work with agents

Simpson Travel has appointed a trade executive who will develop existing relationships with agents and forge new partnerships.

Dan Conitzer (pictured left) will take up the role from August 1, reporting into head of trade sales Hannah Naylor-Vane.

Conitzer, who has been a staff member with the operator since early 2020, has worked in pre-departure, the loyalty team and customer service.

Naylor-Vane said: “I’m delighted that Dan will be joining me to work on the agent side of the business. Over the past few years, Dan has been a fantastic member of the customer service and pre-departure teams.

“He is extremely diligent, committed and has a natural knack for problem solving and it very customer focused. All these qualities will be really valuable in our relationships with agents, demonstrating to them what fantastic service we can give to their clients.”

In addition, Simpson Travel has appointed Richard Latham (pictured right) as a customer service manager. He begins the role on August 18.

Latham has previously worked in customer service and complaints handling roles at Emirates, Silversea Cruises, Singapore Airlines, Kenya Airways and Cathay Pacific.

Ed Pyke, director of operations, said: “We’re thrilled to have Richard on board. Excellent customer service is at the heart of what we offer at Simpson, so this is an important role and we know that Richard will excel.

“This year has seen strong growth at Simpson Travel and these new appointments are great for us moving forward as we continue to develop the business.”
