Silversea extends 15% commission offer for group bookings

Silversea is offering a minimum of 15% commission as part of a revamped offer to encourage group bookings.

The policy sees a fourth tier introduced, allowing an eighth passengers to sail for free when seven pay the full fare on selected sailings.

The ‘Super Advantage’ category includes $300 shipboard credit per suite and a minimum of 15% commission.

The enhanced commission offer was previously limited to group bookings of nine full fare passengers, with a tenth sailing free of charge.

Standard commission applies to groups larger groups with the expanded four-tier system operated by the luxury line. 

A price guarantee across all tiers is extended to 120 days.

Global sales senior vice president Massimo Brancaleoni said: “This enhancement represents our unwavering commitment to our valued community of travel partners, who have long constituted our most important sales channel. 

“With the introduction of our ‘Super Advantage’ tier on group bookings, the increased shipboard credit offering, and our renewed price protection programme, we are once again improving Silversea’s commercial appeal to our valued travel partner community.”
