Silversea aims two new cruises at past passengers

Silversea has released two cruises departing in November 2022, with discounts for the line’s past passenger group – the Venetian Society.

Soon-to-launch Silver Dawn (pictured) will operate a seven-day sailing from Barcelona to Lisbon, starting on November 2 next year. Ports of call include Palma de Mallorca, Valencia, Cartagena, Malaga, and Cádiz, all Spain.

The ship is due to come into service in November this year.

In the Far East, Silver Shadow will begin a 14-day voyage on November 10 from Hong Kong in 2022.

The 388-passenger vessel will call at Ha Long Bay, Chan May (Hue/Da Nang), Ho Chi Minh City, all Vietnam, and Bangkok, Thailand.

Members of Silversea’s Venetian Society will receive a 5% discount on the cruise fare, plus “an array of benefits…and exclusive experiences”, the line said.

Prices for the first sailing on Silver Dawn, with the discount, start from £3,120 per person. The second cruise on Silver Shadow leads in from £5,220 with the 5% discount.

Fernando Barroso de Oliveira, Silversea’s president’s ambassador to the Venetian Society, will host both sailings.

He said: “Sailing deep into the Mediterranean and Asia, we’ll mingle at exclusive receptions and once-in-a-lifetime events – curated by our destination experts.”
