SeaDream Yacht Club’s UK sales director Natalie Read has hosted her second networking walk of 2023 in Guernsey.

Read spent one hour walking with five Guernsey-based agents before the group enjoyed a pub lunch where they discussed business and industry issues.

Travel Counsellors’ Nicki Harrison, Debbie Roberts, Chris Roberts and Jocelyn Bisson attended the walk alongside Raj Mistry from Carrier.

Read launched her walking sessions, called ‘Natwalking’ events, in 2022 to give agents the opportunity to leave the office of their home and chat in person with industry colleagues, as well as to drive trade partners’ knowledge of SeaDream.

Following the success of the walk, Harrison has pitched the idea to her local networking group.

She said: “As our members are mostly business professionals, I was willing to bet many of them spend too much time stuck behind a desk so my hope is that the members will join me once a month this summer to enjoy the chance to network while we walk along some of Guernsey’s most scenic pathways.

“These ‘Natwalking’ sessions will add to the already diverse range of breakfast, dinner and drinks events that the group hosts and may even entice more new members to join the group.”
