Seabourn boosts Wi-Fi with Starlink connection

Passengers on board Seabourn’s expedition ships now have access to improved Wi-Fi after the brand partnered with Elon Musk’s Starlink.

Seabourn Venture is the first ship in the fleet to benefit from the improved connectivity, available to guests travelling onboard the 264-passenger ship from today.

Sister vessel Seabourn Pursuit will also have Starlink Wi-Fi when it launches in August.

Lynn Narraway, the line’s vice-president of UK and Europe, said the offering ensured “next generation Wi-Fi capabilities”.

She explained that an increasing number of Seabourn’s passengers are working during some element of their sailing and the move ensured clients could remain connected even in remote destinations.

She described Starlink as “the leader in low earth orbit satellite technology”.
