Scott Dunn has appointed Alison Zacher as its new global managing director.
She will replace chief executive Sonia Davies, who is stepping down after six years with the company.
Zacher will be based in the UK from the operator's London office but will have a global remit encompassing Scott Dunn USA and Scott Dunn Asia. She commences her new role later this month.
Zacher joins the business from Corporate Traveller, part of Scott Dunn parent Flight Centre Travel Group, where she was global director of operations and sustainability. She has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of roles across multiple brands.
A statement from Scott Dunn said Zacher was a “passionate advocate of women in leadership” and a “driving force” for Flight Centre Travel Group’s fast-track leadership programme, which she will continue in her new role at Scott Dunn.
"We are delighted to welcome Ali Zacher to the Scott Dunn family," said Danielle Galloway, Flight Centre Travel Group’s global managing director for luxury and independent brands.
"She brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for travel that aligns perfectly with Scott Dunn’s values. We are confident that her leadership and vision will drive the next chapter of growth and innovation at Scott Dunn, ensuring we continue to set the standard for exceptional, tailored travel experiences."
Zacher added: “Travel is more than just a passion - it’s an opportunity to connect, learn, and create memories that last a lifetime.
“My vision is to build on Scott Dunn’s heritage of exceptional service, while exploring new ways to elevate our offerings and inspire more people to experience the joy of travel in a meaningful and personalised way.”
