Scenic releases 2025-26 Antarctica programme early

Scenic has released its Antarctica 2025-26 programme early “due to popular demand”.

Eight itineraries are available to book now on an early bird offer which includes savings of up to 20% plus free flights.

New for January 2025 is the 24-day Antarctica’s Ross Sea: Majestic Ice & Wildlife itinerary from Hobart in Australia to Dunedin in New Zealand.

The sailing calls at Macquarie Island, Young Island, Sturge Island and the Ross Sea region. Prices start at £22,785 for departures on January 6, 2025, or January 29, 2025.

Scenic is also offering a discount on the 13-day round-trip Antarctica in Depth itinerary from Buenos Aires.

Passengers will fly from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia where they will board a ship and sail through the Beagle Channel before calling at several spots along the Antarctica Peninsula. There are five departures between November 2025 and February 2025 and prices lead in at £12,865.

All prices include flights, excursions, lectures, meals and drinks.

The line said: “From seals and whales to Emperor penguins and breeding pairs of Adelies, these once-in-a-lifetime expedition voyages are planned around the best of the wildlife calendar.

“Visits start in November, reaching Antarctica in time to see penguins courting, and continue into December when penguin chicks begin to hatch.

“Excursions are led by one of the up to 20 member onboard expert discovery team comprising naturalists, marine biologists and glaciologists.

“Between landings, guests can top up their wildlife knowledge during enriching presentations and discussions in the impressive onboard theatre and dedicated observation deck.”
