Royal Brunei Airlines launches daily Dreamliner service to Melbourne

A Boeing 787 Dreamliner service from Heathrow by Royal Brunei Airlines has been extended to Melbourne.

The carrier claims the link, which operates via Dubai and Brunei, is the only all-Dreamliner service between London and the Australian city.

The introduction of a third 787 into the airline’s fleet has allowed it to introduce the daily Dreamliner connection to Australia.

Special lead-in return fares of £722.13 in economy and £2,455 in business class have been made available to mark the new Dreamliner service for bookings made by April 30 for travel until December 12.

The airline’s deputy chairman Dermot Mannion said: "We have been operating a service to Melbourne for three years but with this launch, Royal Brunei Airlines now becomes the first airline in the world to offer an exclusive Dreamliner service on all long-haul flights which again is a testament to our ambition to offer a truly personal and award-winning service to al
