Travel agents can earn a place on a Rocky Mountaineer US route in return for bookings made from today (Monday) until May 30.
The trade incentive by the tourist train company will see agents booking three trips on the Rockies to the Red Rocks rail journey for 2023 receive a two-day pass.
The journey connects Moab in Utah with Denver, Colorado, travelling alongside rivers, past mountain ranges and through canyons of the US south west.
Both rail-only and Rocky Mountaineer package bookings qualify for the incentive, with the two-day complimentary pass valid on selected dates this year and in 2024.
Agents can earn a maximum of two free rail passes for six bookings. The first must be used by the agent themselves and cannot be transferred to any other individual, according to the company.
The second pass can be used to bring a companion on the journey.
Those with one pass will be able to book a companion at the current agent rate of $275 (around £226).
