Private dining and wine tasting offered on new Virgin Atlantic aircraft

Private dining and wine and cognac tasting will be offered by Virgin Atlantic on new Airbus A350s.

The new experiences will be exclusively available on the aircraft, with a leisure configuration.

They will be available in a corner of the Upper Class cabin called The Booth initially available on flights between Heathrow and Orlando.

The A350 is designed to be 30% more fuel and carbon efficient than the Boeing 747s it replaces and is expected to reduce the airline’s noise footprint at its airports by more than half.

Chief customer and operations Corneel Koster said:“We always strive to create brilliantly different experiences for our customers and the introduction of The Booth demonstrates this perfectly.

“We’re famous for our on board social spaces and The Booth elevates the customer proposition for our leisure travellers to new heights.

“Whether that’s sampling the leading English wines from The Uncommon, sipping Delamain’s  signature cognac or simply enjoying a game of rummy at 38,000 feet, we’ve got something on offer to suit every one of our customers’ tastes.”
