Preferred Hotels & Resorts welcomes 13 new member hotels

Preferred Hotels & Resorts welcomed 13 new member hotels into its global portfolio between September and December last year. 

The independent hotel brand now represents more than 700 hotels, resorts and residences across 80 countries. 

The new additions include new opening Esme Miami Beach in Florida, which welcomed its first guests last November. The hotel, formerly a hideaway for Al Capone, is located along the historic Española Way and showcases a Spanish-Mediterranean aesthetic. The hotel offers 145 rooms and suites as well as a rooftop pool and restaurant, El Salón cocktail bar and modern Mediterranean restaurant The Drexel.

Kvareli Lake Resort in Georgia’s Caucasus mountains has also joined the collection, offering 41 rooms, a restaurant, bar, spa, outdoor pool and games room, as well as a host of activities for active travellers ranging from biking and fishing to boating and cycling. 

New member HS Hotsson Hotel CDMX Condesa Sur, an all-suite hotel centrally located in Mexico City, is set to open this March, with 103 suites all equipped with kitchenettes. The hotel affords guests access to Latin America’s second-largest urban park, Chapultepec Park; famed avenue Paseo de la Reforma; and a host of bicycle tours and jogging trails.

Preferred Hotels & Resorts has also welcomed Fox Harb’r Resort in Canada’s Nova Scotia, home to 85 guestrooms with views overlooking the ocean or the property’s world-class golf course, and Park Piolets Mountain Hotel & Spa in Canillo, Andorra, an all-season, ski-in/ski-out hotel with 150 rooms in the centre of the Grandvalira ski resort.

Other member hotels to join Preferred Hotels & Resorts include HS HOTSSON Hotel Puebla in Puebla, Mexico; Union League Club of Chicago in Illinois; Woolley's Classic Suites in Aurora, Colorado; The Altair Hotel Bay Harbor, Miami in Florida; The Liberty Trust in Roanoke, Virginia; Pendry Park City in Utah; Hotel Plaza Tour Eiffel in Paris, France and Pendley Manor in Tring in the UK.
