Ponant adds new Med and northern Europe sailings for 2024

Ponant has added four new sailings in the Mediterranean, Atlantic and northern Europe to its range for summer 2024, which is now on sale.

Overall, the French cruise line is offering 28 voyages to Mediterranean destinations and 22 to northern Europe and the Atlantic for the region’s summer season in 2024.

New cruises from the French operator include Islands and Cities of the Mediterranean plus Landscapes and Cultures of the Adriatic, both on Le Bougainville.

The new Mediterranean cruise from Athens to Malta visits destinations such as Paros, Hydra, Pylos and Taormina.

The Adriatic itinerary is a round-trip from Venice, visiting Croatian ports such as Rovinj, Primosten, Split, Hvar, Brac and Pula, plus the Slovenian city of Piran.

Another new Med cruise is The Mediterranean: in the footsteps of the Great Civilisations, a 10-night sailing from Valletta in Malta to Antalya in Turkey on L’Austral (pictured).

Further north, new cruises include Cultural Treasures and Scandinavian Panoramas, an 11-night sailing on Le Dumont-d’Urville.

It sails from Edinburgh to Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands then to Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

The new British Archipelagos and Celtic Shores departs from the French port of Saint-Malo, and visits the Channel Islands, Dartmouth, Isles of Scilly, and three ports in Ireland: Bantry, Cobh and Dublin.

Itineraries in Asia for summer 2024 will be revealed in January.
