Oceania Cruises unveils revamped Riviera

Oceania Cruises has released details of some of the new features on its ship Riviera following a period in dry-dock.

The ship is first of the line’s fleet to undergo an overhaul as part of the OceaniaNEXT refurbishment programme.

A new coffee bar and lounge area are some of the additions to the vessel.

Similar enhancements will be carried out on Riviera’s sister ship Marina in May 2020.

Bob Binder, Oceania’s president and chief executive said: “With the evolution of OceaniaNEXT, this was a great opportunity to not just enhance the guest experience aboard Riviera, but to elevate it through the addition of surprising new elements.”

The Bar Istas coffee lounge located on Deck 14 offers sea views and will feature a silver Victoria Arduino espresso machine.

The Concierge and Veranda staterooms, Penthouse suites and the three Owner’s Suites have all been redesigned and refurnished with designs inspired by Oceania’s Insignia and Sirena ships.

The Owner’s Suites are furnished with the Ralph Lauren Home Collection and feature floor-to-ceiling windows, a self-playing ebony piano and a wraparound teak veranda.
