Oceania Cruises expands UK sales team with three appointments

Oceania Cruises has expanded its UK sales team in a bid to “best serve its valued trade partners”.

The line said its bookings are “stronger than ever” following the debut of Vista in May, and it predicted that will continue ahead of the delivery of Allura in 2025.

To support the demand, three appointments have been made in the sales team, with Mark Godden named sales manager for the south, and Sam Richardson hired in the newly-created role of regional sales executive with a focus on the north.

Godden has more than 20 years’ experience in the travel industry, having held positions at Thomson, Lunn Poly, Norwegian Cruise Line and Cruise Circle, while Richardson joins with experience at Cruise118 and Ambassador Cruise Line.

Both Godden and Richardson will be on the road visiting agents and will report to Louise Craddock, director of sales UK and Ireland.

Kim Gough has moved from her previous role as agency support executive to the newly-created position of inside sales executive.

She has been tasked with training agents and hosting events.

Craddock said: “I am delighted that we have strengthened our UK and Ireland sales team with strong candidates at such an exciting time for Oceania Cruises.

“Mark, Sam and Kim bring extensive experience and a fresh perspective to the team.”
