Nobu Hospitality has unveiled plans to open a hotel, restaurant and private residences on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi. 

The brand has partnered Aldar Properties, one of the leading real estate developers and managers in the UAE, on the project, which is scheduled to be completed in 2026.

Nobu Hotel, Restaurant and Residences Abu Dhabi will feature 165 guest rooms and suites, including a Nobu Villa. There will also be a Nobu restaurant with views of the waterfront and the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, a Nobu Malibu eatery, a state-of-the-art wellness and fitness centre and multiple swimming pools.

The property will afford guests access to more than five miles of beachfront and the wider experiences on offer at Saadiyat Island. 

The leisure, business, residential and cultural centre offers a high concentration of cultural assets including the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Natural History Museum, the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, and the Zayed National Museum, as well as a premier waterfront golf course and white-sand beaches. The island is home to free-roaming gazelles and the critically endangered Hawksbill turtles. 

The Nobu development will also include Nobu-branded residences, offering a mix of multi-bedroom waterfront residences and penthouses with unobstructed views of the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi. Residents will enjoy bespoke amenities and exclusive access to social experiences and events at Nobu. 

The property will be a seven-minute drive from downtown Abu Dhabi.

The Nobu brand now comprises a total of 30 hotels either open or in development. The brand has an extensive number of properties in its pipeline, including Marrakech, Rome, Madrid, Atlanta, Toronto, Atlantic City, New Orleans, San Sebastián, São Paulo, Tel Aviv, Hamburg, Punta Cana, Orlando, Danang, Tulum, Bangkok, and Al Khobar.
