This year’s event will welcome participants from more than 40 destinations.

It will open on September 12 with a workshop session followed by a welcome reception, both at The Palm House, Victoria.

On the agenda for the following two days will be networking sessions, one-to-one meetings, experiences, speaker presentations. There will also be a drinks reception and networking evening after the work sessions on September 13.

The Italian Government Tourism Board is the headline partner of the B2B event, with Atout France as a major partner.

Vijay Daryanani, Gibraltar’s minister for business, tourism and the port, will be a speaker on a ministerial panel.

The estimated combined buying power of GTM buyers this year is expected to be £51.4 million, up from £36 million last year.

Daniela Wagner, group business development director for Jacobs Media Group, said: “The return of Global Travel Marketplace to London for 2023 is a highlight of the year in the travel trade. We are very excited to welcome delegates from around the world, both familiar faces from the industry and those joining us for the first time.

“GTM 2023 is a sign of both the continued growth of the travel industry as a whole, and the ongoing demand for participation in first class travel trade events.”
