Monte Carlo Beach Club to open on Saadivat Island in Abu Dhabi

The Monte-Carlo Beach Club Saadiyat Island will be the first of its kind on the island.

The property, due to open in March, is to be managed by Monte-Carlo SBM. Located between two luxury beach resorts, visitors will have access to Saadiyat beach and the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club.

Saadiyat Island will also house the Zayed National Museum, the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Museum, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, a performing arts centre and maritime museum, and Desert Islands, claimed to be one of the world’s largest environmentally sustainable tourism destinations.

Abu Dhabi-based Tourism Development & Investment Company is developing the beach club and other projects.

The new property is designed to “bring the history and style of glamorous Monte Carlo, with its rich heritage of culture, sport and tourism” to Saadiyat, according to CEO Lee Tabler.
