Mexican hotel brand Chablé Hotels adds third property

Mexican luxury hospitality and wellness brand Chablé Hotels is set to expand its portfolio with the opening of Casa Chablé.

The new property is located 22 miles south of Tulum in the Sian Ka’an biosphere, a Unesco World Heritage Site, on an untouched stretch of Quintana Roo’s Caribbean coast surrounded by 12 acres of tropical jungle.

Chablé Hotels has partnered with interior designer Paulina Moran for a full remodel of the property, with a focus on nature, comfort and luxury.

Casa Chablé features five standalone beachfront villas with outdoor showers, and a main villa housing five guest suites, each its own private terrace.

There’s also a thatched-roof gourmet restaurant, an oceanfront wellness cabana, gym, outdoor wellness esplanade for yoga and meditation, a rooftop lounge and bar overlooking sunset views and a 200-metre private beach equipped with canopy daybeds, tipis and hammocks.

The hotel’s culinary programme has been designed by chef Jorge Vallejo, owner of award-winning restaurant Quintonil in Mexico City, and will showcase regional dishes, locally caught fish and produce from the property’s organic gardens - all tailored to guest preferences.

The Sian Ka’an biosphere is one of Mexico’s largest protected areas and boasts forests, wetlands and lagoons as well as ancient ruins, cenotes, mangrove stands, sandy beaches and the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. Wildlife on the reserve includes dolphins, turtles, migratory birds and several species of fish.

Guests can explore the biosphere with kayaks and small boats or go paddle boarding and snorkelling in the ocean. Private tours can also be arranged, including canoeing through mangroves, fly-fishing in lagoons or discovering the nearby ancient ruins of Muyil.

Casa Chablé is powered by renewable solar and wind energy. It also features eco-sensitive water filtration and local building materials and will be part of the hotel group’s partnership with Mexican organisation Comunal to support environmental conservation, sustainability developments and social responsibility.

Casa Chablé joins sister properties Chablé Yucatan in the heart of the Mayan jungle near Merida and Chablé Maroma in the Riviera Maya.

Casa Chablé will be open year-round. Rates begin at $609 per night, based on double occupancy, with full property buyouts available from $6,750 for up to 22 people. Seasonal rates will apply.
