LVMH confirms opening date of Cheval Blanc Paris

LVMH has confirmed its long-awaited property Cheval Blanc Paris will open on September 7, 2021.

Reservations for the hotel, which forms part of the landmark La Samaritaine development, opened yesterday (June 21).

The property overlooks the Seine in the centre of the French capital and features 72 keys comprising 46 suites and 26 rooms.

Remodelled by architect Edouard François, the listed building’s decor was reimagined by architect Peter Marino in the style of a Parisian residence.

The hotel features four restaurants, including a brasserie with a cocktail bar, a fine-dining Italian eatery and a gastronomic restaurant overseen by Arnaud Donckele of the three Michelin starred La Vague d’Or in Saint-Tropez.

A Dior spa will offer six treatment rooms for bespoke services, as well as a 30 metre swimming pool and extensive exercise facilities.

The hotel will also have an area dedicated to children called Le Carrousel.

Cheval Blanc Paris will be the brand’s fifth property. The first Cheval Blanc opened in Courchevel in 2006, followed by Cheval Blanc Randheli, which opened in the Maldives in autumn 2013.

The brand has continued its development with the opening of Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France in the French West Indies in October 2014 and Cheval Blanc St-Tropez in 2019.
