Luxury travel specialist enters Love Island villa

A luxury travel specialist is starring in the current series of ITV2’s Love Island.

London-based Rachel Finni was a senior coordinator for entertainment and VIP at The Leading Hotels of the World, an organisation representing over 400 properties in 80 countries, before joining the show.

The 29-year-old has also held sales coordinator roles at Corinthia Hotels and Hotel Republic Ltd.

Finni entered the Love Island villa during episode five and told fellow contestant Brad McClelland she “books nice holidays for rich and famous people”.

Speaking to ITV about her job, she added: “For me, it’s more what the hotels are capable of. We had a rock star staying at one of our hotels once and we managed to open up the ceiling just so we could get a Baby Grand Piano in there for them.“

Finni also revealed she met Hollywood A-listers George and Amal Clooney through work.

“It was completely by chance,” she said. “I was going to the finance department in one property and I was in the lift with George and Amal. You’re trained to not react. He was very friendly.“

Speaking of joining the show, Finni added: “It’s a combination of two things – I’ve always been a fan of the show and it’s a great experience, you meet great people. I’m someone who loves to live my life to the best.”

However she insisted she is "very, very independent", saying: "I love the way modern relationships are. I don’t need a man for anything. I can buy my own home and take care of myself. I just love knowing I have another person there that I’m going through life with."
