ITC Luxury Travel Group features in a two-part fly on the wall TV documentary entitled The Millionaires’ Holiday Club on BBC Two this month

The series looks at the workings of the independent luxury operator, showing what goes on behind the scenes to develop and deliver tailor-made holidays for discerning clients.

Cameras also follow clients on holidays to Barbados, Jamaica, India and a cruise on board a SeaDream ship.

Viewers will also see that working in the travel industry comes with its own perks as member of ITC’s staff in Chester jet off on familiarisation trips to the Seychelles and Thailand.

Group chief executive, Jennifer Atkinson, said: “This series is a great platform for showing off exotic destinations, but the main reason we took part in the filming was to fly the flag for the travel industry and prove the worth of passionate travel professionals.

“Viewers will see from this programme exactly who and what it takes to make even the most privileged customer’s jaw drop.”

Discussing the fam trips, she added: “These research trips may look like jollies, but everyone in the travel industry will appreciate how essential they are to what we do.”

The programme, to be aired on June 10 and 17 at 9pm, features members of the company’s sales, concierge and Chairman’s Club teams as they put together trips for clients by researching their personal preferences and liaising with resort staff to ensure a holiday that is flawless and peppered with personal touches.

The documentary also meets the hospitality staff who care for holidaymakers, including chambermaids, butlers and chefs.

Four sets of clients agreed to be filmed for the documentary - all customers of ITC Luxury Travel and sister company Weste
