Indian hotel teams up British spa brand

reated its first ‘ila only’ spa at Raas Jodpur.

Within the spa, marma massage, yogic healing and energy work combine with the region’s “most profound” natural products: Rajasthani damascena rose otto; raat ki raani (tuberose) from Himachal;? sandalwood from Mysore; Keralan Jasmine; and Himalayan salt crystals.

Ila’s Founder Denise Leicester said: “We have long wanted to develop a range of bespoke spa environments that remain true to their surroundings, hold the essence of wellbeing, and deliver way beyond guest expectations,”

“Ila only Spa Raas Jodhpur is an blissful haven in the most unexpected and enthralling setting.

“To have this lovely little spa nestled just a stone’s throw beneath one of India’s largest fortresses, drawing off all the raw energy that it exudes, yet cocooned in the city’s most intriguing luxury boutique hotel, is about as exciting an alignment as we could have envisioned for our first ila only Spa.”

Raas Jodhpur is a luxury boutique hotel located within Jodhpur’s ancient city walls, in front of the 500-year-old Mehrangarh Fort. Its heritage buildings are contemporary but authentic and sustainable.

The Raas Rose Bliss signature treatment is designed to capture the romantic exoticism of Jodhpur, combining nurturing Indian damascena rose otto with the sweet headiness of jasmine in a scrub, massage and facial.? Intensely soothing and moisturising, it helps balance the hormones, alleviate stress and promote feelings of deep calm.
