Four Seasons has announced a new resort set to open at Naples Beach Club on Florida’s Gulf Coast, with construction due to start in 2022.
It will mark the brand’s first Gulf Coast property and will comprise 216 rooms and suites alongside indoor and outdoor lounges, a beachside garden with outdoor pools, shops, an event ballroom and multiple dining experiences.
The resort will be one of several new properties at the 125-acre Naples Beach Club, set on the site of the former Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club and being redeveloped under new owners Athens and MSD.
It will sit alongside 185 luxury residences, comprising 58 Beachfront Residences, four Penthouses and 12 Golfside Residences, designed by architectural firm Hart Howerton and featuring interiors by Champalimaud Design.
Amenities at the wider club, curated by luxury developer Discovery Land Company, will include tennis courts, an indoor and outdoor fitness centre, spa and more, as well as the existing golf course. Market Square will sit at its heart, offering a general store, bar and grill, games room, bowling alley, kids’ club and casual eateries.
“The incredible Naples Beach Club marks the debut of Four Seasons on Florida’s Gulf Coast, complementing our existing portfolio of luxury properties throughout the state,” said John Davison, president and chief executive of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
“We are proud to be a partner in this exceptional project, bringing the vision of MSD and Athens to life by setting a new standard of luxury in Naples and delivering our brand’s personalised service and quality excellence to this beloved beachfront community.”
Michael Meldman, chairman of Discovery Land Company, added: “The Residences at Naples Beach Club will set a new standard for Naples living, located in the heart of the vibrant Naples community, while also providing owners with an intimate club experience located directly outside their door.”
Construction is due to start in 2022, and the first phase of residences went on sale earlier this year.
