Four Seasons Explorer unveils 2022 seasonal cruise route

Four Seasons Explorer has unveiled two seasonal cruise itineraries for 2022, Winter of Wonders and Sumer of Mantas.

The Maldives-based 39-metre vessel is currently operating its Winter of Wonders itinerary, which runs until May 29, and again from October 31 to December 18, 2022.

The three, four or seven night itinerary sails between Four Seasons’ two sister resorts in the Maldives, Kuda Huraa and Landaa Giraavaru, and takes guests around five atolls.

The Summer of Mantas itinerary will begin on June 27 until October 31 in line with the huge seasonal aggregations of manta rays and whale sharks that come to the region to feed. The round-trip cruise departs from and returns to Four Seasons’ Landaa Giraavaru on three, four and seven night itineraries, allowing guests to get up close with the world’s largest known population of manta rays in the Baa Atoll Unesco Biosphere Reserve, Rasdhoo and the North and South Ari Atolls.

The three-deck Four Seasons Explorer can accommodate up to 22 guests across 10 air-conditioned staterooms - which include en-suite bathrooms, large windows, refrigerated private bars and flat-screen LCD TVs – and an Explorer Suite.

Other facilities include a new sun deck, a lounge, a library, a restaurant and two bars. The vessel features the latest Scubapro dive gear, Cressi snorkelling gear and Olympus cameras, as well as a team of multi-lingual instructors.

Private dive, surf or leisure charters can also be booked alongside the vessel’s seasonal programme.
