Wellness-focused hotel Fairmont Windsor park is gearing up to open on January 1.

Set amid 40 acres of landscaped gardens on the edge of Windsor Great Park and The Savill Garden, the new hotel will feature 200 rooms and suites – including a Signature Royal Suite with private access to a VIP spa area – alongside four bars and restaurants.

They will include a tea lounge, specialty dining restaurant, champagne bar, gin bar, library lounge and all-day dining restaurant, plus the Greens Café, featuring a dedicated wellbeing chef to provide menus based on guests’ individual health requirements.

The spa will feature 18 treatment rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, a Himalayan salt room and marble Hammam, alongside a thermal suite with steam room, sauna, hot tub and heated tepidarium bench. It will also boast the UK’s first multi-person Cryotherapy Chamber, shown to boost sleep and mood, enhance metabolism, reduce muscle pain and improve energy levels.

Treatments will span massages, ayurvedic rituals, vitamin infusions, osteopathy, nutritional therapy, acupuncture and more, with health assessments and 4D body scanning available in addition. A dedicated mental health specialist will also be available to give personalised diagnostics, consultations and treatments.

Fitness facilities will meanwhile include an indoor and outdoor gym, three outdoor tennis courts and three group class studios, including a Pilates room and a Mind & Body Studio specialising in hatha yoga and meditation.

Other facilities will include a hair salon by Davines, barber by London brand Truefitt & Hill, nail salon from EVO and Nailberry and skincare from luxury wellness brand Comfort Zone.

Lisa Barden, group director of spa and wellness at Arora Group, said the hotel’s wellness ethos would be “transformational, authentic and community-based for people that are focused on becoming the best versions of themselves, with informed services that provide wellness on every level. We are a one-stop wellness and spa space for all.”

The opening will mark the newest addition to Accor’s Fairmont brand, whose existing portfolio includes more than 80 hotels worldwide.
