Luxury tour operator Exsus Travel has recruited Latin America specialist Ricardo Beeny as a senior account manager.

The company said he has taken on a newly created role to deal with the “unprecedented” demand seen for the destination.

Brazilian-born Beeny has “a wealth of first-hand knowledge of Latin America”, having worked in travel in South America and the UK during his nearly 20-year career.

He said: “I’m delighted to have joined the team at Exsus Travel and can’t wait to share my expertise with our travel agents and clients, helping them to create dream holidays with secrets and tips from my time spent travelling around Latin America.”

Neil Sealy, head of trade sales at Exsus, added: “Exsus Travel started as a Latin America specialist in 1998, and this part of the world is still a very important destination for us, having developed a strong network of partners on the ground there over the years.
