Explora Journeys has expanded its UK sales team with the appointment of Koral Lipton to business relationship expert.

Lipton has more than 15 years’ experience in the travel industry, having held positions at Travel 2, dnata, and, most recently, APT Travel Group.

In her new role, she will be responsible for “fostering more meaningful trade partnerships” in Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, and tasked with educating agents on the new brand, which first set sail in August 2023.

Lipton’s appointment comes months before the delivery of the line’s second ship, Explora II, which is scheduled to depart on its maiden voyage in August.

She will report into Priti Mehta, head of sales for the UK and Ireland.

“The extension of our sales team demonstrates Explora Journeys’ dedication to the travel advisor community,” said Mehta.

“We are thrilled to have Koral on board to help foster more meaningful partnerships across the north of the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

“We see strong growth potential in these regions and Koral’s appointment will help form closer relationships there.”
