Cunard reports ‘phenomenal’ demand for 2023

Cunard has reported a “phenomenal response” from the market in the opening two days after the line’s 2023 itineraries went on sale.

The luxury line said demand had been particularly strong for Grills Suites on the 150-plus international voyages.

Cunard’s summer 2023 programme went on general sale on February 2.

Angus Struthers (pictured), Cunard’s vice president of sales and marketing, said booking levels had surpassed Cunard’s record-breaking 2021, when Queen Elizabeth’s summer at sea sailings were released.

“Cunard’s two strongest booking periods in more than a decade have happened in the past 12 months and is testament to the global appeal of a holiday with Cunard, signifying guests’ desire to step back on board and travel in style and luxury,” he said.

Cunard’s Summer 2023 schedule includes 150 voyages calling at 120 ports in 35 countries, with 23 late evening departures and 15 overnight stays.

Voyages range from two nights and 37 nights.
