Cunard creates Halloween agent incentives

Two Halloween-themed travel agent incentives have been released by Cunard until November 1.

The line has also made it easier for agents to sail by removing the minimum threshold for the number of points they need via the Shine Rewards Club points-based loyalty scheme to redeem a Cunard voyage.

Agents can now use any amount of points to book any retail fare type, on any voyage on sale, while using a new ‘Cruise with Cunard’ calculator to understand how many Shine points are needed to book a cruise.

An online ‘trick or treat’ shuffleboard game gives agents the chance to earn a reward.  They will either be ‘treated’ to 100 Shine points or ‘tricked’ into 10.

Agents making any Cunard booking on any fare type, including net rates, need to visit the Shine Rewards Club website and enter their booking references to play.

A ‘Hallo-Queen Pumpkin Hunt’, whereby five pumpkins will be hidden on five pages around the Shine Rewards Club website, enables agents to be awarded with 30 points for finding all five.

Shine points act as currency that agents can use in return for rewards, including vouchers to spend at more than 70 retailers and restaurants.

Points are valid for two years from when they are earned, and are combined with those earned with sister brand P&O Cruises.

Cunard global sales and marketing vice president Angus Struthers said: “At this time of year, it was simply too good an opportunity to miss to launch these two bewitching incentives through our Shine Rewards Club.

“And it’s perfect timing as we have just launched our 2025 programme, with the release of 180 new voyages.”
