Carrier pushes sustainability with trade incentive

highlighting its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility through a new trade incentive.

The operator is rewarding agents who make a booking valued at more than £2,500 with an eco-friendly reusable Chilly’s bottle baring the brand’s logo. The brand has created a dedicated CSR team who are aiming to reduce the company’s usage of single use plastics. Bookings made by September 30 will qualify.

Carrier will also honour its top agents at its annual awards night, this year being held at London’s Natural History Museum in November.

Head of sales Rick Milne said “In support of our increased CSR efforts at Carrier and to celebrate the launch of our new dedicated CSR team, we’re excited to announce our September trade incentive.

“Chilly’s mission, to accelerate the adoption and everyday use of reusable products, resonates with our new environmental policy at Carrier and this incentive is a great way of sharing this effort with our travel agent partners.

“It’s of vital importance that we, as a part of the luxury travel community, do all we can to minimise our impact on the environment and we hope this incentive will simultaneously encourage agents to join the cause, whilst also rewarding them for booking with Carrier.”
