Canadian Affair runs trade competition as website is revamped

A new travel agent portal features as part of a revamped Canadian Affair website.

Agents are being offered £50 John Lewis vouchers in a competition designed to encourage trade use of the site.

The operator has introduce a ‘find my holiday’ tool allowing agents to filter holidays by duration, budget and other preferences to help improve the search process.

The competition centred around the travel agent portal involves five tasks to be completed, each with a shopping voucher up for grabs.

The tasks are independent of one another, meaning that agents can submit entries for as many or few of the tasks as they like. The chances of winning are increased the more entries they submit, according to the company.

Entries must be submitted by 5.30pm on May 10, with each correct one entered into the draw for the corresponding task. Winners will be selected at random following the closing date, and contacted shortly after.

Head of marketing Nick Talbot said: “We are excited about the launch of our new website and the new features it offers, as our goal has always been to

support our agent partners with the best tools and resources.

“We believe that the new travel agent portal and the ‘find my holiday’ tool will significantly improve the way agents interact with our products and help them sell our holidays more effectively.”
