Belmond is launching a series of livestream Instagram videos called Belmond Invitations designed to bring entertaining experiences into people’s homes during the current coronavirus lockdown.
The initiative launches on Friday, March 27 at 6pm GMT on Belmond IGTV with a live performance by pianist Joe Stilgoe in honour of Belmond’s roaring 20s ‘The Party’ that was due to take place in Venice and onboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express this weekend.
Belmond said the performances had been curated using the brand’s wellbeing philosophy of ‘Good Living’, with each experience designed to enrich the mind, body and soul.
Livestream performances will range from poetry to music to travel inspiration and will be announced on the brand’s Instagram page, @belmond.
In addition to the series of livestream videos, Belmond has teamed up with its so-called ‘Experience Makers’ to create a Digital Care Package for users.
Over the course of the next few weeks, Belmond will release a series of content across its digital platforms, including its website, Instagram and Facebook, ranging from morning meditation sessions to make-at-home spa therapies.
“With this care package, we hope to provide inspiration to temporarily transport people to some of the world’s most enriching destinations – even if only virtually for now,” said a statement from the brand.
