Azamara unveils new trade partner programme

Azamara has unveiled a new trade partner programme to “support and strengthen” its relationship with agents and operators.

Azamara Alliance will see the launch of new tools and technologies to create a “seamless experience” for the line’s trade community including a new booking platform, revamped Azamara Connect portal and expanded contact centre.

The line will deliver live training sessions in January to help partners familiarise themselves with the new booking platform and to get the most out of the new Azamara Connect.

Azamara has also announced investment in its UK-based sales team, including the appointment of Moira Gregson as business development manager and Natalie Holder as international marketing manager, who will both report into managing director David Duff.

Gregson will work closely with head of trade sales, Stuart Pearce, to develop and grow Azamara’s presence and performance in the UK. Gregson has worked in the travel industry for more than 25 years, including roles at Carnival, Cruiseco and Ambassador Cruise Line.

Holder will support Azamara’s global marketing team in Miami, as well as the in-market sales teams in the UK and EMEA. She has previously worked for The Travel Network Group, Hurtigruten and Not Just Travel, where she was head of trade marketing.
