Azamara Club Cruises is to be featured in a new TV series.

‘Cruise Ship Adventures’ will be presented by wildlife enthusiast and presenter Nigel Marven on UKTV entertainment channel Watch in May.

The programme will highlight the two-ship line’s destination-based itineraries in a bid to reveal another dimension to cruising.

The line’s UK and Ireland managing director, Richard Twynam, said: “Nigel’s enthusiasm for exploration and discovery goes hand-in-hand with the experiences we are committed to offering our guests and we hope that Cruise Ship Adventures will inspire culture-seekers to consider future adventures with us.”

Marven said: “Anyone who’s been on a cruise will be astounded by the peculiar creatures we encounter in visits to ports of call.

“The best bit was sharing my passion for wildlife - taking Azamara’s captains, entertainers and guests on adventures with everything from puffins to pipefish, whales to woodpeckers and caecilians
