Azamara and Cox & Kings launch City Stays programme

Azamara Club Cruises has collaborated with tour operator Cox & Kings to offer pre- and post-cruise stays.

City Stays have an emphasis on local connections, allowing Azamara guests additional time to explore arrival or departure ports.

They include stays for three or more nights, selected meals, transport from the port to the hotel and airport transfers and are available in destinations such as Singapore, Barcelona, Venice, Miami and Rome.

“As a leader in delivering authentic cultural experiences across the globe, the expansion of Azamara’s land offerings to include City Stays programmes in key markets enhances our guests’ connection with the destination by providing opportunities to explore a city from a local’s perspective,” said Larry Pimentel, president and chief executive of Azamara Club Cruises, who said the recent launch of Azamara Pursuit would allow the programme to be expanded.

Cox & Kings’ president Patrick Richards added: “We’re thrilled to partner with Azamara on the new City Stays programme. We’ve customized some truly special experiences in some of the world’s greatest cities and look forward to showcasing these to Azamara guests.”
