Aspire to host second Leaders of Luxury conference

ry travel will gather at this year’s Leaders of Luxury conference.

The invitation-only event, now in its second year, will be held at the Royal Geographical Society in west London on July 9.

The audience will once again be handpicked by Aspire editor Hollie-Rae Brader and Travel Weekly Group editor-in-chief Lucy Huxley, and the event is open only to senior industry bosses such as owners of travel agencies.

Themes of this year’s event will include: state of the market, adventure and exploration, sustainability, social media and communicating, and authenticity.

Among the speakers confirmed are Silversea Cruises’ marketing director Barbara Muckermann; Sara McCorquodale, digital guru and social media adviser to brands such Dior and Jo Malone; and explorer Felicity Aston, the first woman to ski solo across Antarctica.

TV presenter Anita Rani will also speak at the event on the topic of authenticity. Her appearance at the event is sponsored by Kuoni. More speakers will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Headline sponsors for the event are Silversea Cruises and 100% Pure New Zealand. Other sponsors include Japanese airline ANA, Kuoni, Castello del Nero and Air New Zealand.

Aspire editor Hollie-Rae Brader said: “Last year’s Leaders of Luxury conference attracted more than 200 delegates and was a huge success, and I’m very confident this year’s conference will be another brilliant event.”
