Anantara expands into cruising
Anantara?Dream and Song will take guests through the heart of the country’s waterways and the Chao Phraya River.
The boats are 100-year old teak rice barges and the cruises last three days.
They have been painstakingly rebuilt and restored according to the company
Anantara Dream voyages offer luxury discovery experiences such as a private cooking class, spa, on-board yoga retreat, Thai wine tasting class, a self guided walking tour at various points of interest along the way, or the chance learn the art of sailing the old rice barge on the ‘River of Kings’ from the Captain.
Anantara Song accommodates up to four couples or can be reserved for private charter.??
The spacious upper deck sets an idyllic scene for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, served from a well provisioned galley.?
A separate sun deck invites guests to take in views of Ayutthaya’s crumbling city walls and lively markets on the banks, in between stop offs.
