A&K Villas introduces Extra Flex policy

A&K Villas has introduced a new Extra Flex policy for a selected range of over 70 villas in Italy, France, Greece, Spain and Croatia.

The operator said it had worked closely with villa owners to offer reduced deposits of 20% and a 100% refund or fee-free postponement if clients cannot travel due to government travel advice or quarantine requirements.

The brand said the new policy reflected consistent demand for villas and private homes throughout the pandemic, with privacy and ‘homes away from homes’ key trends among affluent travellers.

“Our enhanced Extra Flex policy gives added reassurance to go ahead and book a much-awaited villa holiday,” said A&K Villas' managing director, Kerry Golds.

“We all need something to look forward to, and now you can book, safe in the knowledge that they won't lose out should the unexpected occur.”

A&K Villas also reported a surge in interest for the Greek Islands, after Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis raised hopes that British tourists would be able to visit the country this summer thanks to the UK's vaccine rollout. Mykonos, Santorini and Crete are currently the most requested destinations, according to the brand.

Multigenerational travel and large family villas also continue to prove popular, with A&K Villas suggesting many clients are still holding out hope for a break despite the current travel uncertainty.
