Agents targeted with £125,000 cash rewards in Celebrity Cruises wave push

Celebrity Cruises has pledged to give away a total of £125,000 in its turn of year trade bookings push.

The line is prioritising rewarding agents with cash prizes over the next three months with multiple chances to earn and bonus chances to win.

Agents booking cruises will have the chance to earn up to £1,500, via Celebrity Rewards.

The 100 top performing agents between today (December 6) and March 1 will earn £500 each.

Agents will also have the opportunity to win additional cash prizes for making multiple bookings.

The first of the ‘Sell More, Win More’ prize draws will see 50 agents who make ten or more booking win £500 each. In a second draw, 25 agents who secure 20 or more bookings will win £1,000 each.

New agent starters to the travel industry as well as those new to the brand will receive a £25 bonus per booking, on top of Celebrity Rewards earnings for their first five bookings.

Agents will also earn £5 when booking an inside or oceanview cabin, £10 for a balcony, concierge or Aquaclass cabin and £20 when booking in The Retreat or for sailings to the Galapagos Islands.

Further incentives are to follow in January as the company ramps up its wave period activity.

Consumers will be offered discounts of 75% for a second passenger as well as onboard spend of $400 per cabin during the promotional period.

A multi-million-pound ‘Journey WonderFULL’ marketing campaign during the wave period will run across TV, print, social and digital out-of-home sites.

A new digital selling guide has been introduced to support agents along with training and marketing tools hosted on the Celebrity Central portal.

Face-to-face new starter training is planned as well as training on new 2024-25 sailings.

UK and Ireland sales director Claire Stirrup said: “We’ve shaped this Celebrity Moments campaign entirely around the feedback from our travel agent panels, which told us that cash prizes are what will mean the most to travel agents this year.

“New starters are vital to the growth of the industry so we’re also listening to their feedback by going further to include them, celebrating their first bookings with bonus earnings.

“We recognise the value of the incredible support we receive right across our travel partner community, so it is important we give everyone the chance to maximise their earning potential.”
