Virgin Voyages has dropped its single supplement for sailings booked in August.

The cruise line has announced single passengers will sail at the same rate as couples or groups with the launch of its Solo Sailor Getaway offer, and encouraged single passengers to book soon to save on costs.

In addition, single passengers will get an extra $100 towards their prepaid bar tab if they book by August 31.

Eligible voyages start from August 2022 and apply to Sea Terrace cabins on Scarlet Lady or Valiant Lady.

The latter will be the location of the Advantage Travel Partnership’s dedicated cruise conference, as the consortium announced the event would be returning in October for the first time since 2019.
