The Standard unveils travel agent loyalty programme

Hotel brand The Standard has launched an exclusive specialty rate programme designed specifically for travel agents. 

The private platform, called Secret Agent, is applicable across The Standard and Bunkhouse Group properties and features competitive commissions rates, exclusive perks for agents’ guests, insider tips, expert education and insight into travel industry trends.  

Agents accepting into the programme will also have access to multiple promotions with a combination of discounts, commissions and perks allowing them to tailor the best experience for their clients. 

Secret Agent discounts start from 10% off the best available rate (BAR) or 10% commission. 

The new programme follows the success of The Standard’s Friends with Benefits programme, which offers guests preferred pricing in all The Standard properties. 

The hotel group said it had created Secret Agent to “better engage and benefit the frontline travel agents across the industry”.

Agents who join the programme and make a booking via the Secret Agent platform before the end of June will be entered into a sweepstake to win a trip to The Standard, Ibiza and The Standard, London (pictured). The prize includes a three-night stay at The Standard, Ibiza, a two-night stay at The Standard, London, and $1,000 flight credit.
