Wellness focussed resort to open in Grenada next month

A new lifestyle and wellness resort is opening in Grenada next month.

The Point at Petite Calvigny opens on October 1 with three villas and 12 suites located on an 11 acre estate on the south coast of the island.

Each of the three split level villas has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a private infinity pool and a deck with a BBQ station.

The 12 single floor suites have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, private balconies and share two large free form swimming pools, a swim up bar and outdoor grilling station.

The resort features a private-access beach, a gym and wellness centre, five swimming pools, a beach bar and restaurant and a private marina.

Guests will be looked after by the resort’s ‘vibe director’ who will help create their perfect stay and allow them to “awaken, renew, enhance and enrich their holiday experience”.

Chris Ashby, owner of The Point at Petite Calvigny, said: “The Point is the first luxury resort in Grenada that is totally focussed on wellness.

“We offer discerning travellers the perfect combination of luxury accommodation in a peaceful setting with the ability to design their stay exactly as they wish. We have an extensive list of suggestions but, to be honest, the only limiting factor is the imagination. If a guest wishes to visit the rainforest at midnight, swim with turtles in the Tobago Cays or have a massage on the beach, we will make it happen.

“The impetus in creating The Point was to offer a truly Grenadian experience.  I am proud to say that The Point is owned by a Grenadian, was built by Grenadians and is staffed by Grenadians.”

He said The Point had been built to the highest eco-standards with UV filters on windows and doors to minimise energy consumption; rainwater harvesting to provide drinking water and a wastewater treatment system that produces water to irrigate the gardens.

All toiletries are vegan friendly and free from parabens, sulphates and phosphates.
