The Lux Collective to launch flagship property in Mauritius

The Lux Collection has unveiled plans to open a new flagship property in Mauritius.

LUX* Grand Baie Resort & Residences is set to open in spring 2021 and will become the lead property for the company’s LUX* Resorts & Hotels brand.

The beachside resort will be located in the Grand Baie neighbourhood in the north of the island, known for its beaches, village life and favourable year-round climate. 

It will feature 86 suites and eight two-bedroom villas with private swimming pools in the main resort complex, while 24 residences will sit adjacent to the property connected by a bridge. 

Guests will have the choice of five dining options, as well as wellbeing and fitness concepts and a kids' club. 

The hotel will welcome Steven Phillips as general manager, whose previous roles include area general manager at Joali Maldives and head of leadership at the Maldives' Gili Lankanfushi.
