TCS World Travel expands fleet of private jets

A new customised private jet will join TCS World Travel’s fleet in 2021.

The new Airbus A321LR has been designed around customer research, which found that most guests view the jet as a home away from home.

Designed with comfort and relaxation in mind, the “calming oasis” features wood-effect floors, stone countertops, textured wall finishes and full-length mirrors in bathrooms, as well as leather-wrapped arm rests, ample storage areas and custom mood-lighting in warm tones.

TCS claims the new aircraft is the largest cabin in height and width of any single-aisle aircraft, providing passengers with 6 feet 5 inches of personal space in the 52-seat configuration.

With sustainability at the forefront of travel trends, the Airbus A321LR also burns 20% less fuel than the current Boeing 757 and can fly for an extended eight to nine hours, allowing it to cover larger distances without refuelling.

“This is a momentous occasion for TCS World Travel as we develop and design a new jet guided by guest-centric and research-informed insights,” said TCS World Travel president Shelley Cline.

“We have always put our guests at the centre of what we do, and are thrilled to take that a step further by turning their wish lists into a physical product.

“We look forward to continuing to evolve our journeys, products and services to meet and exceed the needs of our guests.”
