Swan Hellenic expands Antarctica itineraries

Two new 2022-23 Antarctica itineraries have been added by Swan Hellenic as it dedicates two ships to the region.

Newbuild ship Vega will join Minerva running cultural expedition cruises of Antarctica.

Vega, which is due to enter service in September, will operate two new 18-day early-season itineraries as its maiden cruises.

The ship will depart Buenos Aires and Ushuaia on October 19 and November 5 respectively for the Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica.

A 40% early booking discount applies for bookings made before May 3.

Specially-reduced single occupancy supplements of 25% also apply for a limited number of cabins.

Chief executive Andrea Zito said: “We’re delighted to unveil the exciting itineraries our experts have created for the 2022-2023 Antarctic season.

“The eminent onboard lecturers and veteran expedition guides we’ve selected will reward guests with an unforgettable experience of discovery, seeing what others don’t.

“And our early bird-enthusiasts will be rewarded further with very special savings to celebrate.”
