Singita introduces private jet package for Rwanda and Tanzania

Luxury safari operator Singita has announced a private jet partnership connecting two of its exclusive-use villas.

The package, which is available from September, combines stays at Singita Kataza House in Rwanda and Singita Serengeti House in Tanzania. The borders of both countries reopen this month.

To accommodate those wishing to travel between the two by private jet, Singita has partnered with Roar Prive, giving guests access to private terminals, privacy onboard the jet and a dedicated staff.

At Singita Serengeti House, guests get access to a private vehicle, field guide, chef and host.

In addition to twice-daily game drives, experiences include cookery classes, private yoga and no-touch wellness treatments during the seven-nights on property.

From here guests take a private charter flight from Singita’s Sasakwa Airstrip to Kigali International Airport, followed by a helicopter transfer to Singita Volcanoes National Park. They will then spend five days at Kataza House where they will have two private gorilla treks, as well as a golden monkey trek and private cookery lessons.

Rates for the 12-night itinerary start from £166,736 for up to eight guests. It includes all accommodation on a full board basis, as well as private transport between Tanzania and Rwanda.

Singita is also preparing to reopen Singita Sabora Tented Camp at the end of September 2020.

The lodge has had an extensive redesign and features private meditation decks and secluded outdoor salas with shaded daybeds. The camp has been reorganised to ensure it makes the most of its surroundings, and each tented suite now enjoys a view of one of two nearby waterholes.

The nine self-contained suites rest lightly above the ground to ensure minimal impact on the landscape.

Rates at Singita Sabora Tented Camp start from $1,650 per person per night in off-peak season.
