Silversea enhances digital training platform
Silversea Cruises has enhanced its digital training platform to help agents improve their product knowledge and expertise in cruise.
The Silversea Academy was already available for agents in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, but the platform has been enhanced and expanded with additional content. It now features 19 training modules.
It is also now accessible in the US, Canada, Latin America and Asia for the first time.
The training hub enables travel partners to learn more about Silversea's variety of product offerings, visited destinations, ships, and itineraries with an interactive and visually engaging learning experience. Each module takes an average of 20 minutes to complete. Travel partners are invited to participate in a quiz at the end of each module and are awarded a certificate upon their successful completion.
Among the training modules now available is one dedicated to ‘Selling Silversea,’ providing a comprehensive understanding of the cruise line, its ships, and its broad range of visited destinations.
Another module is called ‘Expedition Cruise Expert,’ which delivers an in-depth knowledge of the luxury expedition cruise experience.
The Silversea Academy platform also offers easy access to the brand's MySilversea.com portal, where agents can view and manage bookings, as well as find marketing tools to help create effective campaigns using "high-impact, customisable marketing materials". There is also a Meet the Team tab to connect travel advisors with the line's sales support team.
To celebrate the launch of the updated and expanded Silversea Academy, agents who complete a training module will be entered into a monthly draw, held for three months, for a chance to win a £200 Amazon, Virgin Wines or Love2Shop gift card.
