Scenic has added a new itinerary and a city extension in Slovenia and Croatia to its 2023 Europe River Cruise Collection.

An eight-day Charming Castles & Vineyards of the Rhine & Moselle river cruise from Mainz, Germany, to Basel, Switzerland, is now offered by the line.

Ports of call include Koblenz, Bernkastel, Cochem, Rudesheim, Rastatt and Breisach, all in Germany.

Departures are available from April to September. Prices for the sailing on April 22, 2023, start from £2,495.

A new five-day Ljubljana and Zagreb extension can be added to the following four sailings: Scenic’s 15-day Jewels of Europe; eight-day Gems of the Danube, nine-day Black Sea Explorer and 16-day Danube Delta Discovery.

The extension includes a walking tour of both cities, a boat ride in Slovenia and a visit to a national park in Croatia.

Prices for the Gems of the Danube sailing, departing on April 26, 2023, with the Ljubljana and Zagreb extension start from £3,400 per person.

The full 2023 river cruise programme can now be previewed and booked at 2022 prices. It will go on general sale in April next year.

Customers who book before January 31, 2022, will receive a £1,400 saving per couple off 2022 prices and free private door-to-door chauffer driven transfers.
