Scenic is to host a group of UK agents on its flagship ocean vessel Scenic Eclipse in Saudi Arabia this week.

The 12 invited agents on the five-day fam trip voyage in the Red Sea are the line’s top-sellers in the UK. Agents from Travel Counsellors, Audley Travel and Barrhead Travel have all been invited on the voyage, starting on Friday.

The itinerary includes visits to the ancient cities of Hegra and AlUla, plus the port city of Yanbu.

Scenic Eclipse has been sailing chartered itineraries in Saudi waters since July 17.

Joseph Grimley, Scenic Group’s UK director of trade sales, said: “We all know how hard agents have worked over the last 18 months and how challenging it has been for them.

“This sailing not only provides our agents with an unforgettable experience but also allows them to truly understand the ultra-luxury cruising experience that Scenic Eclipse offers.

The sailing is run in partnership with Cruise Saudi, the Saudi Tourism Authority and Saudia Airlines.

Scenic Eclipse is scheduled to operate Antarctica sailings from January 7, 2022.
