Scenic Eclipse unveils 2022-23 Arctic programme

Scenic has released its 2022-23 Arctic programme for Scenic Eclipse featuring four new destinations.

The line’s so-called discovery yacht will offer itineraries in the Russian Far East, Japan, the Northeast Passage and Alaska, on top of its existing programme in Norway, Greenland and Iceland. 

Highlights of Scenic Eclipse’s 2022-23 season include a 27-day Cross the Legendary Northeast Passage voyage, which takes guests from Anchorage in Alaska to Tromso, Norway. The voyage starts from £21,140 per person and departs August 5, 2023. 

A 17-day Jewels of the Russian Far East voyage sails from Anchorage to Vladivostok, taking in the hot springs in Kamchatka and the Kuril Islands. Prices start from £13,045 per person, departing May 26, 2023.

On the west coast of Japan, clients can travel from the seaport of Sapporo through Hakodate, Sannai Maruyama, Maizuru and Busan on a 15-day Japan: A Journey Through Time voyage, which departs on June 19, 2023 and starts from £11,500 per person. 

Meanwhile, a 15-day Arctic Islands voyage takes guests to Svalbard, Greenland and Iceland with a focus on scenery and Arctic wildlife. Prices start from £10,475 per person, departing July 11, 2023. 

Scenic Eclipse features two helicopters, a custom-built submarine and a fleet of Zodiacs. 

The ship’s 20-strong Discovery Team includes historians, geologists, archaeologists and photographers. 

Scenic Eclipse is currently offering a 20% Super Earlybird saving on selected voyages for guests who book and pay in full 12 months prior to departure. 

All voyages are all-inclusive, with prices including return flights, transfers, gratuities, up to 10 dining experiences, top-shelf beverages, butler service and all excursions and activities. 

All new bookings are covered by Scenic’s Flexible Booking Policy, which allows guests to defer their cruise to another travel date or itinerary up to 60 days prior to departure. New bookings also include Scenic’s Deposit Protection Plan.
